UK Hide is a large leather distributor, selling premium leather, faux leather and high quality vinyl to the automotive, aviation, marine, upholstery and interior design/architectural markets.

THE CHALLENGE

The company built their expertise and reputation in the automotive after market. Whilst the business was growing they were keen to harness other untapped markets.  There was no marketing expertise in house.

UK Hide wanted sustainable marketing support with a plan and strategy to develop the business into other sectors. They had ambitious plans for growth and wanted help to achieve those goals. As a result they chose our Virtual Marketing Director model.

HOW WE SOLVED IT

We transferred the existing website onto a content management platform so we could update the wording and ranges. We updated their marketing materials and ensured there was consistency of branding across the company.

Since then we have run campaigns in a number of sectors to develop business and broaden the sales reach. We worked closely with a telemarketing company and carried out sales meetings to introduce UK Hide.

We have now built a new website making visibility of all products much clearer and easier to navigate. This has helped to increase high quality leads, with sample requests coming in every day.

We have updated many of the sales materials, which has reinforced UK Hide as a premium brand.

Working with the newly appointed Sales Director, we have installed a CRM system and are continuing to develop the business. We have achieved great results.

THE RESULTS

The business has grown and expanded into different markets since we have been working together. Sales have increased by 30%.

There are robust marketing systems in place to support the sales process, and help win new business.

The Sales Director has developed a strong relationship with us – facilitating ongoing success.
